Detroit Diesel 6V53 turbo engine, STEEL BLOCK, ex-military surplus, complete core as pictured. Engine came with a group of aluminum block engines and is built to the same general specification, unknown why the block is steel. Plenty of good accessories on this engine for builds and repowers.
